Griffin, GA – Marukan Vinegar (U.S.A.) Inc., pronounced (Mar-oo-kahn), plans to open its second U.S. brewery in Griffin, GA by 2017. This new facility will increase the company’s production capacity for its rapidly growing line of gourmet rice vinegars and serve as an operational hub to more efficiently supply the Eastern United States and exports across the Atlantic. The company’s first facility in the U.S. was opened in Paramount, California in 1974. The California plant will continue to operate and serve as the company headquarters for the U.S. subsidiary.
